I cut and built the rafters today. It was a big job, but I got them all put together. I didn't take many pictures during the build, but I got lots of footage of it. This video is my longest yet, maybe a bit too long, but I am still not a very good editor. All together I got 16 sets of rafters together.
The plan is to use the collar ties for the finished ceiling. That will give me an extra foot of room, so I hope that will prevent me from taking out a light with a sheet of plywood or 8' board on end. I hope you enjoy the video.
